Description: Someone fluent in Czech language and history should amend this entry; until then, let this be an enthusiastic invitation to what might be simply representative of restaurants in Prague or might be one of those little delights one comes across by chance in a new place. U Zavesenyho Kafe (please don't ask me to figure out the accents on my Dvorak keyboard) is an all-purpose social spot at the tip of a string of restaurants leading up Nerudova toward Prague Castle . . . at least i think i have my bearings straight. The place is quite comfortable, with some beautiful themed paintings and decor, and the drinks and food are reasonably priced. If you're lucky, one of the locals or travelers (seems that both are frequent) will strike up a tune on the piano.
